The South Australian election marked a major milestone for Turning Point Australia, not just in reach during a state election, but in real-world political impact.
Over the course of the campaign, TPAUS generated more than 11 million views across its own digital platforms. With content widely reshared across external pages, groups and networks, online and offline, our total reach is conservatively estimated to exceed 40–50 million views.
But the real impact went beyond views.
TPAUS deployed a coordinated statewide rollout of educational election materials and resources, including:
- How-to-Vote guides
- Policy comparisons
- Candidate breakdowns
- Politician voting records; and
- Volunteers.
In key electorates of Hammond, Ngadjuri, MacKillop and Narungga, TPAUS placed One Nation as the number one recommendation on its How-to-Vote cards.
All of these seats were won.
We have since been told directly by One Nation insiders that these materials, along with TPAUS election coverage, played a meaningful role in helping voters make informed decisions.
This election also marked the first time TPAUS operated with a dedicated state coordinator.
Special recognition goes to George Mamalis, who led the campaign effort alongside an expanded volunteer and operational team. This structure allowed for greater coordination, faster execution, and stronger on-the-ground presence.
But the organisation’s influence is no longer limited to election campaigns.
In the final 24 hours of key Liberal Party preselections held last weekend, TPAUS launched rapid-response grassroots mobilisation campaigns. This marked the first time Turning Point Australia engaged in internal party voting, recognising that these decisions matter and can ultimately determine who holds positions in our parliaments.
The results were significant:
- Over 12,000 emails sent supporting Luke Howarth for the number one position on the LNP 2028 Senate team in Queensland
- Over 3,000 emails sent supporting Moira Deeming to retain her seat as a Liberal in the Victorian Upper House
These campaigns were conceptualised, launched and scaled in under a single day.
They demonstrated something new, the ability to rapidly mobilise large volumes of Australians around key political moments.
Despite this overwhelming engagement, party insiders chose to proceed with internal decisions that did not reflect this grassroots sentiment, and boy are the Victorian Liberals in a damage control after selecting a candidate who gave a positive character reference to a convicted child sex offender, over Moira Deeming. You literally can’t make this stuff up!
This disconnect is becoming increasingly visible to voters.
Looking ahead, TPAUS is now preparing for the Farrer by-election next month following the resignation of Opposition Leader Sussan Ley.
One Nation candidate David Farley will contest the seat in what is shaping up to be a unique electoral contest, with Labor not expected to run.
TPAUS will once again play an active role, delivering How-to-Vote guides, election resources, and clear voter information.
