The Queensland Parliament has been silenced on one of the most serious moral and human rights issues of our time.
For more than 14 months, the Queensland LNP Government has enforced a gag on abortion debate, preventing MPs from speaking freely in Parliament.
This is not democratic.

On the first sitting day of 2026 (10 February), Robbie Katter MP will move a motion to lift the gag order and restore Parliament’s right to debate abortion openly and honestly.
