The Turning Point Australia website (TPAust.com.au) has been upgraded and relaunched to cater to the rapid growth in users and everyday Australians using the website, accessing the tools, and engaging in campaigns.
After a series of successful campaigns that had high demand from all over Australia, such as the tools provided for the Federal Election, and How-To-Vote cards for Local Government elections in NSW and Victoria, the Turning Point Australia website has been upgraded to prepare for an even greater number of campaigns.
The new website will allow Turning Point Australia to deploy more campaigns with richer features in quicker times, with increased capacity to cater for the increase in demand.
“After demand from voters during the Federal Election crashed the website twice, we knew it was time to upgrade,” said Joel Jammal of Turning Point Australia. “It’s a good problem for us to have, but it clearly shows a growth in the number of Australians who want information from sources without strings attached and who aren’t funded by big industry or special interest groups.”
As part of the website relaunch, Turning Point Australia can now guarantee that all website data and user data are stored exclusively on servers located in Australia, providing greater assurance to users of their privacy rights and data security.
“Turning Point Australia’s entire focus is on creating and providing tools for campaigns that empower Australians to make an actual difference. We differentiate ourselves from other campaign groups that are not much more than a collection of surveys designed to harvest user data to more successfully solicit them for donations” said Joel Jammal.
