Edward Schuller joins Turning Point Australia as a news commentator

31 October 2026

Turning Point Australia (TPAUS) is pleased to announce that Edward Schuller has joined the organisation as a news commentator. In the lead-up to the Victorian State Election on 28 November, Edward will interview candidates, giving voters the chance to hear directly from those seeking their vote.

Edward Schuller is an emerging figure in Australian politics, known for his public commentary and his work as National Secretary of Red Union’s Teachers Professional Association Australia (TPAA), an alternative to the Labor-aligned education union. A leading advocate for education reform, Edward campaigns for a more conservative, pro-family system which empowers parents through school choice. He also is fighting for children through his Protect Our Kids campaign, taking up the fight against the radical transgender ideology and graphic sexual education in schools.

A leading voice for Australian nationalism, Edward regularly appears on television, radio and prominent podcasts, writing on Australian sovereignty, immigration and energy independence in both News24 and The Spectator Australia. Edward is an ordained deacon at his local church, and a devout Christian whose faith is central to his life and work.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Schuller said:

“I’m thrilled to begin my role with Turning Point Australia at such a pivotal moment in our nation’s history.”

“As a people, we are in the midst of a historic struggle to reclaim our country,”

“Nationalism is beginning to ring true among the masses, particularly so for young people who are embracing a newer, more powerful vision for our collective future as Australians.”

“A future built on one incorruptible principle: Australia First. The interests of Australians, not foreign lobbies, must come first on every single issue: energy, education, defence, housing and immigration.”

TPAUS National Director Joel Jammal welcomed the appointment.

“Edward has a proven record of standing up for children and teachers, and as a former Victorian resident, he understands the issues and knows how to draw out candidates’ real views. Victorians deserve to hear directly from those asking for their vote, and Edward will ask the questions that matter.”

“I’m looking forward to Edward’s candidate interviews, which will be published across TPAUS social channels. With the election on 28 November, they will give voters a clear picture of where candidates stand on the issues that matter to Victorian families.”
